Toronto ON— As we head into the fall months, the next Covid-19 wave should soon be spiralling out of control. Canadians will need to reach some sort of consensus on how we will refer to it.
Will we call it the fourth wave or will we call it wave four? We, as Canadians have already reached a general agreement that kids are going into grade 4, not fourth grade so should we just stick with that method or do we take a chance and try something new?
Whichever we choose, we must all stick together and let it be part of our identity. Americans already think we’re weird for referring to the grades in that manner but it’s one of the things that give our country some personality.
We don’t want you to rush your decision but time is literally running out before we have to pick one or the other. The news organizations need to be on the same page to prevent confusion amongst us citizens. With projections having us at thousands of daily cases, we seriously should try hard to collectively make a decision in the coming days.
Are kids in grade four heading into wave four or are we sending our 4th wavers into fourth grade? Are we the weird country with silly money or are we just a country with silly money. You decide.
