Ottawa ON — We all know how hindsight is 20/20, so we can’t let ourselves be too shocked that nobody asked why the military requested funding for stripper poles and whips.
Justin Trudeau is coming under fire for allowing Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin run the vaccine rollout even though he was under investigation for a mysterious reason. It has since come out that Fortin is under investigation for sexual misconduct, something that he denies. This is just the latest controversy involving high-level military members, with some suggesting there is an institutional crisis of sexual misconduct in the military.
Trudeau claims he knew there was an investigation going on but had no idea what it involved or that it was even appropriate for him to know. He knew they had requested funding for stripper poles, whips, neon signs that said ‘Live Nudes’ and camouflaged condoms but he just assumed it was for simulated war scenario’s against countries with a lot of red-light districts.
“Now that I know about the accusations, perhaps it looks bad now, but who am I to tell the military which supplies they need?” Trudeau said but in way more words than that and much slower. The defense of not knowing what goes on anywhere should help him with the upcoming election because it allows him to easily dodge the hard questions.
When asked how Fortin’s resignation will impact the vaccine rollout, he simply replied, “because it’s 2021.” Many applauded such a beautiful, poetic response.
