London England — We caught up with Canadian music superstar Bryan Adams to see how he is handling the long break from touring due to the pandemic. We wanted to get an idea of what artists have been up to and how they became musicians.
The first thing we asked was when he bought his first six-string. We didn’t want to know about the little fake kids ones, but rather his first real one.
“It was uh…well I think in the early seventies. Hmm, no that can’t be right,” he told us scratching his head. “You know I can remember walking into the five and dime, it was scorching hot but I’m not sure when it was. I was definitely in high school because one of the band members got married not long after. Geez, you know I’m certain I sang a song about it but it’s been so long since I picked up my guitar, I just can’t remember”
We continued to ask him some questions but he just couldn’t remember anything. “Please forgive me, I don’t want to stop this thing we started but I just don’t remember a whole lot,” a dejected Adams said.
He told us once things get back to normal and he starts rehearsing, he would love to give this another go.
