TORONTO, ONTARIO — Using the latest in Covid safety technology, a Yorkdale mall store clerk presses a device to the forehead of a customer to check whether they have recently used professional hair services. This device, much like the devices used to check your temperature can detect right down to the brand of hair dye a person has used. If it was a five-dollar box of hair dye, this machine will know. This customer tested positive for boxed die which means she can come in.
The stores have had to keep up with current technology throughout the Covid-19 pandemic in order to stay open. “First we had to ask questions of recent travel, then we moved to taking temperatures but now we know haircuts are the single greatest threat to spreading the virus,” the retail store clerk told us. “Without this device, you probably wouldn’t be seeing such a crowded mall here on this Easter weekend.”
The device works by looking at several factors. The gloss of the dye, the sharpness of the scissors used, the quality of hair layering, and how even the sideburns are, amongst other things. This is nothing short of a game-changer because now deceitful patrons can’t say they coloured their hair themselves. It will keep out the delinquents and allow the responsible people in who actually need a Coach purse that matches the outfit they just bought. By taking these precautions we can continue with this style of lockdown where we can freely go about our daily business.
