Burbank California — Just when you thought that Jeopardy fans could have a week without outrage, a little statue changed it all.
For the last two weeks, fans were steaming mad that Dr. Oz, who peddles sketchy treatments, was hosting the beloved show. They felt he did not represent what the show has stood for or something like that. Twitter tends to over analyze things.
This week was to start fresh and get the knots out of the viewer’s panties as Aaron Rodgers took over hosting duties. There is nothing in his past that could possibly upset fans unless they were fans of a rival to the Green Bay Packers. That is until he pulled out his Dr Oz statuette and placed it on the podium and left it there throughout the entire taping. He said he liked the aura of Dr. Oz and that he was hoping it would help channel his clue reading skills.
That’s all it took for fans to become completely enraged. Furious. Spitting mad. You get the idea, they aren’t going to take it and you can expect them to boycott this week. An absolute disgrace to the legacy of Trebek. We’re going to need some time to digest this so let us know when the next host comes. Uggh.
