Etobicoke ON — After a tough weekend, Doug Ford was relieved when he came into close contact with a positive COVID case and had to be put into quarantine. The media was all over him after he closed down playgrounds, golf courses and allowed for police to randomly stop people walking down the street to ask where they’re going. He backtracked on the playground and police issue but the aftermath has been ugly.
With the quarantine, he gets to shield himself from any media scrutiny. He is spending 14 days in his late mother’s house with nobody to help him with computers which he would need to continue working. Ford, who still uses a Blackberry doesn’t even know how to open his laptop without an aide so actually getting online is out of the question.
To pass the time he has decided to try out this Netflix everyone is talking about. He has scrolled through 800 channels and has yet to see it listed anywhere. He was already dead set on watching the Full House reboot which meant that giving up is not an option. “Maybe I already scrolled past it,” he thought to himself while starting back at the beginning. It was a bit tough going past The Young and The Restless without stopping but he did, but not for long. “Ah hell I have 13 days left, let see what Victor Newman is up to.”
Now if only he had an aide here to show him how to make microwave popcorn, he’d be set.
