ETOBICOKE, ON — Although the COVID-19 pandemic has put a hold on Doug Ford’s promise to have beer sold in corner stores, that did not stop him from taking a late night stroll to rub some grocery store beer in the beer store’s face last night. “Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it’s coming,” he could be heard whispering as he walked by with a grin the width of a tall can. “See this pack of beer, ya I bought it with a rotisserie chicken, where else can you do that? Here is the receipt, how does that make you feel.” As he let out a devilish chuckle, he walked away casually making sure the beer store got a good look at it. The pandemic may have put the agenda on hold for now, but there will be more night time walks in the future.
